An attractive early hourglass with turned spindles and separate top and bottom green-glass bulbs connected at the neck by a leather band and fine brass wire. Very fine sand, powdered marble, or eggshell filling. Circa 1775.

Condition: Re-glued cracked piece of wood on top and bottom.
