An English figured walnut longcase clock by Thomas Estwick, London. Eight-day time and strike brass movement. In the arch is a chapter ring marked with the months and the days of the month (now non-functional).
Thomas Estwick is listed in Baillie's "Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World" as working in London in 1747.

Condition: Case in good condition overall, with normal wear for it's age. Formally with pierced fretwork above the arch, now with solid veneer; later bracket feet; replaced door lock. Levers and wheels for calendar indications in the arch are missing. Minute hand is partly missing.
