An English mahogany longcase clock by Marmaduke Storr, London, third quarter 18th century, with calendar aperture and moon dial.
Marmaduke Storr is listed in "Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World, volume 1, by G.H. Bailie, as an eminent maker at Lombard St. in London, active 1724-1775.
Height 90" (7'6").
Condition: Movement and case are a good fit, but probably associated. Later replaced plain frieze in the arched section of the hood. Movement appears to be complete and in good condition.
