Condition: General wear appropriate for its age.  Some small losses to fretwork.

 

An article in Clocks magazine, August 1987, p. 60, specifically references, “Fenton, James, of London —” which suggests that a specialist article was devoted to him, or at least to a clock or group of clocks by him.
