A small walnut Spanish folding table, 17th century. The legs are attached to the top by hinges which fold up by release of a hook at the base of the metal brackets interlocked to eye-bolts in the center of the legs. Early tables of this small size, and early folding tables in general, are rare. The low height makes it for excellent use in place of a modern coffee table.
Height 18", width 32", depth 19".
Very good condition with nice old patina. Normal wear consistent with age. 2" ball feet added at a later date.
