A fine French gothic walnut chest, 15th century, with detailed tracery carving to the front. The lock mechanism has a flap covering the key hole, accessed only by turning one of the buttons on the flap.

Condition: In very good condition for its age. The top is later (probably from around the 17th century), and the molding above the base is an old later addition. Original lock (no key).
