A Gothic oak document box, 15th/16th century, with inner till box.
 
Length 23.5", depth 12.5", height 12.5".
 
Condition: The top and bottom are early, but adapted and fitted to the rest of the box.  Repair to portion of till box lid.  Original lock and lock plate, but no hasp or key.
